Wedding Games

Wedding games have been around for hundreds of years. Some we still play today like tossing the boquet or taking off the garter! In fact, It was widely believed that newlyweds brought upon good luck, so tossing the bouquet represented the Bride passing on her luck to whoever caught it! Games are a great way to liven the mood and help your guests relax! Games are also great photo oppertunities! We are going to post a new game every day for thirty days so enjoy!

TOUCHY FEELY

Best time to play: At the beginning of the reception while food is bieng prepared.

Players: Bride and Groom

First you will need to blindfold the bride. Then hide 3 binder clips randomly on the grooms body. They can be clipped to his collar, his leg, his shoe lace his but, anywhere you choose! The bride then has one minute too find all the clips. If she doesn't suceed in the task then she has to perform a penalty like hoolahoop or give a passionate kiss to her new husband (okay so it doesn't have to be a punishment! Enjoy and we will write another tomorrow!

30 wedding games

Want to add a little fun and adventure to your wedding? For the next thirty days we are going to share our favorite wedding/bachelor/bachelorette/reception games and pranks! They will range anywhere from Mild to Wild so sit back, relax and have a little Wedding Day Fun!

HONEYMOON FLIGHT

BEST FOR: guests at reception to determine who gets the centerpiece!

BEST TIME TO PLAY: Towards the end of the reception before older guests begin to leave.

HOW TO PLAY: Purchase a good size newspaper and unfold it. Announce to everyone where the couple is going on there honeymoon and that they have invited everyone to join them. Start with the first table and tell everyone at the table that they need to hurry and get on the flight. Everyone from the table steps onto the newspaper. Then tell everyone the flight has been overbooked so everyone needs to get off. Have everyone get off of the newspaper and fold it in half then have everyone get back on. Tell them that there is a problem with the plane and have everyone get off the paper and then fold it again, then have everyone reboard! As this is done several times, less and less people will fit on the paper. The last person on the plane (standing for at least 15 seconds on the paper) gets there table's centerpiece. Play continues until all the centerpieces have been given out!
